A long-time widescreen.org guest sent me some photos of the upgrade from a functional TV room room into a gorgeous home theater.

He’s now able to enjoy his episodes of Gunsmoke on a 92″ (2.3 m) StudioTek 130 G3 screen and Runco (now Planar) Q-750D DLP projector with Dynaudio Confidence C2 speakers in front, Simaudio Moon 400M amps, and an Anthem Statement D2v 3D receiver running the show. (He says that his dog did the soundcheck. If this passes the superior hearing of Man’s Best Friend, then you know it’s good.)

The transformation, which was performed by Huston Design Group out of Tennessee, shows that in the right hands just about any room can become an impressive home theater room.
